Non-coated or epoxy pool decks (such as wood or plain concrete) will discolor, warp, or stain which are all difficult to restore. What Pool Deck Sealer Actually Does
Pool deck sealer is essential to adding protection against the elements whether your pool is indoors or out. Sealers comes in a variety of options but primarily are either a topical or penetrating sealer.
Topical sealers are applied by first cleaning and preparing the existing concrete then applying the sealer over it in a number of layers. Of course! Every building material on the market has both pros and cons to its use. While we have demonstrated its pros, a few of the issues we’ve heard from customers are that the floor gets a lot colder in the winter due to its heat resistant nature, walking on epoxy can be a little louder due to its high level of hardness, and if not treated for it, epoxy flooring can have issues with UV radiation.
