As with any construction job, we do require that the room be vacated until the job is done. Unlike with other major jobs however, the installation process for epoxy is generally quick and a few days after our final sealing coat, you can enjoy the room again without worry of fumes, floor stickiness, or other common flooring problems. Pretty cool, eh!
Absolutely! Our team is trained in both the installation and removal of epoxy flooring. As such, we use a set of chemicals and industry tools to remove the existing coating before treating and applying a new coat. If you’re looking to go from a solid epoxy to a marble finish, we’ve got you covered.
Yes and no. Due to its heat resistant nature, epoxy is often a few degrees cooler than the air around it. As such, if you have a heater running that is warming up the room, the epoxy will warm up to a few degrees cooler than the temperature in the room which will be more than comfortable. We also have some other techniques we can share with you following your installation if this is a concern!
